Another dart

In the previous post I mentioned that the Enemy was throwing darts my way, and you don’t even know all of it.

I got a letter from my insurance company today (Thursday) telling me that they weren’t going to pay for my inpatient hospital stay at MD Anderson last week. I was on the phone to them for hours, and they weren’t relenting. Can you imagine paying for a 3-day, 3-night hospital stay at MD Anderson out of your own pocket? They didn’t even have a logical explanation for denying coverage. As if I didn’t have enough stress, this!

I got a phone call this evening (not from my insurance company, but from an authoritative source in my organization), telling me not to worry about it another minute and get some sleep tonight … it will be taken care of. I don’t have to give it another thought.

This latest distraction lasted only about 4-5 hours, but illustrates what lengths the Enemy will go to in order to try to bring me down.

The Lord God is my hope.

    Praying for you still …. it is now 2:44a and I will enter into my quiet time with Father lifting you up and for His grace to be magnified unto your soul. You are much loved. Joyce

    Oh, Sweetheart, this IS a tough world, but you have God holding your hand.

    Read this every day!
    As you leave this place
    may the Living Lord go with you;
    May he go behind you, to encourage you,
    beside you, to befriend you,
    above you, to watch over you,
    beneath you, to lift you from your sorrows,
    within you, to give you the gifts of faith, hope, and love,
    and always before you, to show you the way.

    benediction – blair monie

    I love you.
